Demi Lovato believes that life exists beyond the human race. And if you don’t agree with her, maybe you’re a little bit selfish.
Stopping by Late Night with Seth Meyers, Myers asked the singer if she thinks aliens are real.
“I know they’re real,” Lovato replied, sounding very sure of herself. ” How self-centered would we be as humans to believe that we are the only living things in the universe?”
“Uhhh, call me self-centered because I don’t believe in aliens!” Myers laughed.
But explaining further why she thinks aliens exist, Lovato also noted that she is a big fan of conspiracy theories. Among them, is the belief that mermaids exist.
“I believe that there could possibly mermaids, which is actually an alien species that lives in the Indian Ocean which we have never explored as human beings and Christopher Columbus had actually seen three mermaids on his way to America,” Lovato said.
She then went on to say that she was convinced by a documentary she saw, to which Myers joked and asked if it was The Little Mermaid.
“You can laugh away the mermaids. But there are other ones that I’m totally into,” Lovato later said.
But when it comes to Big Foot and the Lochness Monster, she doesn’t believe in either. And the moon landing? She says she still needs to do her research.
Hmm! Seems like Demi is also a scientist/researcher in addition to being a singer!
